DINNER: I went to an all you eat buffet restaurant to test my ability to make better choices. I started out with a fresh salad. I placed the salad dressing on the side because they didn't have any fat free choices. I used much less using the dipping method instead of coating my salad with the dressing. I have also discovered that you can taste the freshness of a salad without all that added dressing.
Next, I moved to the main course. I picked a sweet potato, broccoli and cauliflower and chicken, green pepper, pineapple kabobs. I really enjoyed the grilled pineapple. (Note to self: must do this at home)
Then came dessert. This restaurant has a huge dessert bar. I walked over to it..looked at all the goodies. I let my eyes take it all in and then I took my plate and walked over to the fruit. On the way, I think I actually walked a little taller. I could fill the willpower lift me up. Yes it was a good feeling. (Note to self: remember this feeling)
