No Cake for ME!!!
My sisters and brother-in-law's party was a good time. Lots of family and friends, which equals MEGA FOOD. I had one Spanish hamburger, some of my pasta salad and piece of veggie pizza and also one small treat. Before you judge me...the treat was made by my niece and she is in Weight Watchers and its her peanut butter bars..I don't know what is in them..but I MUST get the recipe. They were AWESOME! (side note: my niece has lost over 70 lbs in WW, she looks great)
I did pass on all the crackers, salami, cheese, chips, and dips and CAKE!. Potion control was in the back of my mind the whole time. I had rum and diet coke for drinks. All in all, I was rather proud of the way I handled myself. I think having a cold helped me a little also, I have no appetite at the moment. Tomorrow is Sunday, which is weigh-in day. If history repeats it self, I will have (if I a lucky) maybe lost 1 lb. In the past, the second week has always been a let down for me. But this time I am going to go focus on what I did right this week and let it guide me on this path to health.

YUM !! Mango is one of my favourite fruits and I love it with yoghurt. Now, what are grape nut cereal - sounds delicious, but we don't have it here in Aus. You are doing great with your eating plan Ann - good for you. As you said in one of your earlier posts, we can be successful in our quests for a healthier life, by being organised with our food (one of my big challenges).
Post Grape-Nuts is a low fat cereal made from natural whole grain wheat and barley and is an excellent source of whole grain. Delicious whole grain foods like Grape-Nuts are heart-healthy and provide naturally-occurring fiber and nutrients that you need every day. Studies show that diets rich in whole grains may help lower your risk of heart disease as part of a diet low in cholesterol and saturated fat. (that is taken from their website.) Myself I don't enjoy it as a cereal I usually add it as a crunchy topping to yogurt, ice cream or anything u want to add some crunch too... its mmmmmm goood
